Stanes Amalgamated Estates Ltd.
Stanes Amalgamated Estates Ltd (commonly known amongst tea houses as SAE) was formed in 1946 with the estates of Crofton, Deepdale (bought in 1938), Kotada (bought in partnership with UNITEA in 1943), Welbeck (bought in 1946, which was originally bought in 1921) and later Cairn hill (bought in 1951). Thus under SAE, there are two large estates, known as Kotada Estate and Welbeck Estate, with factories.

Coffee
SAE is also home to Arabica coffee beans are by far the best type of coffee beans that one can buy. Our Varieties are far superior to that of Robusta and this is very apparent in the taste, which is smoother and less acidic than that of its relative. Our unique flavoured Coffee cherries are Hand picked and sun dried before they are sold in bulk.
Pepper
SAE’s lush estates also harbour some of the finest pepper in the country. Our pepper us cultivated utilising the native shade trees as natural standards for the pepper vines with some growing to over 20 feet high. The Pepper portfolio of SAE includes some of the best varieties such as Panniyur, Karimunda, and Thevam.
